I'm also wondering Andy, as Infamous is....
When I saw the prominent, unbroken barring, to me those look more friedrichstahlii (La Ceiba) than motaguense, or just spawning dress.
And it is possible they are simply yellow variant motag, they are such close cousins, the difference is only a question of a short distance in location.
Either way, they are extraordinary specimens.

I also have the feeling Americancichlids fish is a female, although it may be too young to be positive.
Here is a pair I had.
male, note the spots under the jaw line, and on the gill pla
female, note the lack of spotting

If she is intact a female when will my lil motaguense get some color? roughly what size and a probable amount of time will it possibly be?

After WC my Lil mota's red brightened for a second. If my motaguense retains its blue face spangles that would be awesome!
