small jig i think i used.i used minnows last trip but there was no babies.

oops, bumped it to the next page :grinno:

wow that pond is so beautiful.. thats great that your fish will enjoy that beautiful pond too.. :D

Excellent job with the move.

You're one fellow that don't leave anything to chance! Now I realize i've been playing with my luck when I transport fish in those totes with nothing to support the plastic all around and with only one aerator. I bring extra batteries though. I think I better provide better support for my 54 gallon totes that holds pairs.:D

That pond depth may let you keep the PB alive in the winter months. One of the wholesalers that buy my PBs has a smaller pond that's no more than 10 feet deep and he keeps a PB in that pond to control the population of the other Cichlids. I've been seeing that PB for two summers now. They also have a Silver Aro in the pond that was two feet long last time I saw it.

He seems to be in the North Ft. Myers area, they are in the worst drought in 5 years. If you do not put a fountain in that pond all the fish will die, the water will go stagnant with the low water conditions.

Happens to all farm ponds during droughts.
