My 1000 Gallon Glass Aquarium (1000+ Gallons for Dummies)

That is going to look fantastic!!

Wow! This is one crazy tank.
Is the tree real or faux?

Everything in there is fake, but it all sinks on its own. I'm also going to silicone a few rocks to the top glass in a corner to simulate a sort of cenote. I'm perhaps diverging from the classic Amazon biotope a bit, but there's more than one way to skin a cat when attempting to mimic that river system.

That looks wicked! I'm really digging the look you're going for with lots of natural hiding spots under the trees and around the rocks. Are you going to be able to fit that background and tree into the tank without cutting it since you have the top bracing?

The background rolls up like the substrate, and Stuart assured me the tree would fit. I gave him *all* the measurements for my tank. If you look close at the picture of the background above, you'll see they built a scale model of the back of my tank in plywood to fab the background. The background is a custom one off piece, as is the bottom.

Yeah I saw the mock-up they did to fit against your tank's back and overflows, I was just curious how the stiff background and tree would fit through your openings on the top. But if he assures you they'll fit then its all good!

Hello..........UPDATE PLEASE! Looking good
