My 1000 Gallon Glass Aquarium (1000+ Gallons for Dummies)

Hows the tank doing? How about some pictures of your filtration, heater, UV?

It's sealed around the perimeter and then had lots of silicone placed under it as well. But it's not completely sealed down...that's what gives it the undulating appearance.

I will put up detailed photos of everything once it's closer to being finished. Right now, I'm waiting for the new lids and 240g growout tank going into the stand to arrive. It's never ending...
 
WOW, most impressive tank I have seen in a long time! Can't wait for more updates. Great taste in vehicles too.
 
I'm really sorry I haven't updated this thread in awhile. I have been beyond swamped with personal and work activities, and it's been all I can do to keep my aquaria properly maintained. I have a couple of weeks off at Christmas, during which time I intend to finish a few odds and ends with this tank and complete my documentation of the build in this thread. Here are a few pictures I took tonight. The fish have really grown/thrived in this environment. :)

Wow! Looks great Albertan. How is the filtration working out for you? Is it working as expected? Anything you dont like about it?
