Just finished reading the entire thread. Awesome and inspiring!!!

I love the idea of the pseudo-substrate. I need to figure out a cheap diy way to do something similar to this for all my tanks.

Not any more. I was going to get a tigrinus cat, but I think that would turn out to be a problem down the road with the aquascaping.

I'm not disagreeing. But keep in mind all those fish in the FTS are up against the front glass expecting to get fed, and the tank is five feet deep. Crowding is a relative term I guess. The filtration is handling it no problem at all right now.

It does look crowded to me when I think about how much growing these fish still have to do. Oh well. I'll deal with that issue when it arises.

Amazing tank. I walked by my 180 threw some pellets in and walked away disgusted. My tank seems like a beta bowl now.
