an for my quote I had a quote from a local shop just 15 minutes away an they were 520.00 for the 3/4" sheet that is 4X8 ill try acrylics.ca an get a quote from them

my other quotes are alot higher than the 250.00 though
canus plastics was 430.00 $
advance plastics an signs was 320.00 $
an there were a few others I can think of off the top of my head but thats why I was gonna go with this one in Toronto but I will do some more looking around

Spare time for these types of projects has to be made, just like the money and commitment it takes to undertake them to begin with.
Unless of course you happen to be a Lotto winner.
In the end, it's all worth it.
He's not posted the total investment involved so far, but I can assure you, you can't buy a production, or custom made 1400 gallon tank for what he has spent. You can't count his time, as this is his hobby and enjoyment.
I'm contemplating a DIY as well. Only about half of his tak size, but even still, it's much cheaper than buying one.
I typically work 50-60 hrs. a week, have a wife and three kids, and have virtually no "spare" time, but if I decide to do this project, I'll find it, and the money to finance it, without making my family suffer for it.
