My 15 gallon planted tank is complete!

Wow looks awesome! Umm two questions... 1) how long was the time span between week one and today? I'm gonna guess a year. 2) can I see pics of your diy co2? I've always wanted a planted tank, but plants are so expensive.

the bottom layer is ADA aqua soil and the top layer is eco-complete.

answer to question 1:

the span from week one to today is 3 weeks....lol.. im rather new at planted tanks. the plants i have are very easy to grow..i also do everything thing i can to make them grow faster and better.. i.e. fertilize, lots of light, good substrate and DIY Co2.

lighting is the most important! however, with more light = more algae if u don't use Co2. my tank is 4.3 watts/gallon which is a lot... i need co2 or i will get ridiculous algae.

thats not me in the video but i followed what it said. i use a ceramic airstone to diffuse the Co2.
