UPDATE:
This is the main overview (PART 1) of the filtration for the pond.
I am using some tubs that I got at Tractor Supply to create a trickle tower system.
The base of the filter is a 110 gallon tub.
The extra holes are the overflows, and there are 5 output bulkheads at the bottom.
For the tiers, I added two 40 gallon tubs. One is for bioballs, while the other one is for mechanical filtration.
Here are the tiers all added up:
I then added 6 inch output pipes to the bottom bulkheads.
I will update everyone tomorrow on the pump and filtration media for the pond.
Now I know that this by itself is not sufficient enough to filter 20,000 gallons.
The pool already has a large filter with a UV and filter cartridge. This DIY filtration is just additional filtration.
