I finally have all of my sump plumbing complete, my sump still does not have any baffles or media in it, but I just had to turn everything on to see how it works. Everything looks good, no leaks and lots of water flow with two ReeFlo pumps going. I don't think it is too much though. After some fine tuning, the Herbie overflows are working fantastic, zero noise from the overflows!

The Uno pump that came with my tank died, I was using this for my canister filters. I need to find a replacement impeller for the Uno, otherwise I have a Mag 12 I can use. I'm not sure if the Mag is the best choice to push water through two Ocean Clear canisters.

Next up, purchase Poret foam and bio media, finish the sump, add pool filter sand, wash the rocks I bought a couple of weeks ago and start aquascaping.

Unfortunately I will be out of town on business for awhile, so it will probably be a couple of weeks before I can start cycling. I'm excited to put a few fish in this thing. I have been working with a LFS on my stock list.

how many mbuna chiclids are you putting in there and how big are they?
I do not have any fish for this tank yet. I have been working on a stock list the last few weeks. I will start out with juvenile fish, trade off to get the male/female mix I want. So far I have about 6 or 7 different Mbuna I want, a couple of Haps and a couple from Lake Victoria. I will share more of my stock list when I decide for sure what I'm going to put in there.
