Thank you everyone! I am in Lynchburg Va

Are you going to stay in VA when you relocate, or have you looked that far ahead, yet?

you wouldnt happen to have posted any pics with the moon lights have you? sorry if i missed it... very sick build... what was the damage to the wallet after you completed this build.. sorry you have to sell... do u mind me asking how much you sold it for?

Damage to the wallet ater the build.....never really figured it out. I am guessing about $700 plus the pumps, filters, etc. Sold it for $425, just wanted to get it moved....but, it's still here. The buyer has not picked it up yet. As long as it's gone by late spring I am good!

Have not thought that far ahead yet but if we leave VA we wont go far. We have talked about NC and SC but who knows.

Why not head up to Northern Wisconsin or Southern Minnesota, around the great lakes somewhere? :D

How's the tank holding up?

Looking at the LR option for my next build and looking for long term results..

I have an idea on how to cover the back on my tank. Do you think some extra coats of LR would hold up flat sections of slate on the walls without tearing off the coats on the wall?

I saw your other post and commented there about the tank. It has ben up and running about a year now with no issues at all. Not a single leak and I got it sealed correctly. As far as the slate on the back wall I "think" you will be OK but if I were you I would do some testing. I would get all of the layers of LR you need to seal the tank on the back wall and let that dry. Once dried, I would apply a good amount of LR to that back wall and to the back of the slate and stick them to the wall. You will been the have the back wall laying flat but I figured you assumed that already. I also imagine drying time on the slate will be slow.
