I have had a couple of buckets of Zavlar sitting in my office for a few months now. I ordered my glass the other day, and I should be able to pick it up this week. This is one of the threads that keep inspiring me to build a big tank.

Nice to hear, if you have any questions along the way feel free to ask. Oh, and dont let that Zavlar freeze, if it freezes, it's trash.

Thanks :) That's why its sitting in my office. My wife looks at it and thinks I'm nuts for keeping it in there. Do you know if it looks any different if it froze at some point? I'm concerned because the local store may not know that it can't freeze and store it in an unheated area.

I have just been careful not to let it freeze. It is my understanding that if it freezes it will separate. When you open the container it should look like brown mud. When you start your project I recommend getting a 1 gallon paint can from Lowe's with a top so you can transfer some of it into a smaller container to work with. The 5G buckets are a pain in the *** to get opened.
