There are few things cuter than baby fish. Baby snakes and kittens beat them out (and in that order) but not much else. Puppies don't come close.
This assertion has been subject to heated criticism on occasion, usually followed by a questioning of my sanity. But I maintain that your fry are even cuter than puppies.

So what do you all think? Goldie Hawn has healed up now and in great shape, so much so she has killed off nine tetras and two Plattys. Think I should move her back in with Casper and the babies? Or wait till the fry are gone to reintroduce?
That is what I was thinking.
Had to move the Roseline's and Swordtails back in with Thor. Too much chaos in the 55gal atm. Goldie claiming half the tank. HRP's are now herding a new batch of fry around. Funny thing I have seen tho is the three older HRP fry are running an outer ring of defense for mom and dad.
Woke up this morning to 2/3 of the fry missing from yesterday. So drastic measures took place. Set up my 46bowfront on the floor due to no stand. It was on one of them old solid wood dressers but roommate got rid of it so had to take the 46bowfront down. Let's hope the fry will make it. Saved about 30 or so of them.
Casper is back to being by himself for a couple days to give time for "dad mode" to wear off then I will reintroduce Goldie and see if we can start over.

Well I was going to give Casper a couple days to mourn the loss "to him" of all his babies. But I did do a massive even for me water change. And Goldie is stirring up so much chaos in the 55gal I figured give it a go. All that could really happen is they fight I scoop her back into the 55gal. Well I was wrong again. Seems like so far that both are "in the mood" and digging on each other.ok
