My Amphilophus Sagittae journal

Thanks for rehoming me your spare male, Sean! It was a pleasure to meet you. I can definitely tell you take care of your wet pets!

The eggs have not hatched yet. They have dug more and the rock that the eggs are on has shifted so I can no longer see the eggs. I don't want to reach in and move it so I can, may scare them into eating the eggs or something. My roommates son was over yesterday and it's was hilarious that Casper was gill flaring and the like at the new face guarding his eggs.

Wow, neat to see how you have navigated the adversities so far to hopefully come out victorious. Good luck with the “possible” new arrivals.

Good news!

We have fry, saw them today during the water change. I just hope some make it, there wasn't a lot.

Neat. Is it an option to separate them or do parents need to take care of them for a while?
