Double bad news.
The eggs went bad, got this wierd white mold, so I disposed of them. In hindsight I should have let the fish do it. I think it pissed the male off and he took it out on the female. This morning I found her dead.

Well that really sucks - so sorry

We have eggs!


I caught Casper and Goldie Hawn laying them. Kinda hard to see but they are laying them on the inside of the black rock.

The eggs have not hatched yet. They have dug more and the rock that the eggs are on has shifted so I can no longer see the eggs. I don't want to reach in and move it so I can, may scare them into eating the eggs or something. My roommates son was over yesterday and it's was hilarious that Casper was gill flaring and the like at the new face guarding his eggs.

Good news!

We have fry, saw them today during the water change. I just hope some make it, there wasn't a lot.

I could not even if I wanted to. My only spare tank is in use now with HRP grow outs.
