My maintenance account buddy showed up at the house this evening to surprise me with 2of my favorite fish, banjo cats from the Seattle Fish Store. Each are under 3in. I have been sick since Saturday so this really brightened my day.

I have just lost 5 of the 9 T musaicus (mini orca). Their fins are all gone. 3 that are still alive have really tattered fins so I have moved one of them to a different tank.
pH of 8 or 8.2 seems kind of high for the driftwoods, no? What happened? Do you know or still troubleshooting?
I started a thread on it. Long time member on planet catfish thought my auto water change % could be a little high. Nothing definite though.

I rescued three Dwarf Anchor Moth catfish (Erethistes jerdoni) from my maintenance account. They were housed with angels, acaras and geos. These were gifted to him. I have them in a 2.5g full of java moss by themselves. The other positive is that I now have a way of disposing of my excess micro worms.

Improved the anchor cats tank with a sand bottom and matten filter.
Do not, I repeat, do not try catching Akysis prashadi catfish by hand. Got a nice little stab and injection from one of mine for trying. Hurts like crazy. Fish measures ~5in TL.
