My Channa from India and Rest of the World

Hi

@ ravenrage - Many thanks.

@ tyjo1334 - I thought it was unreal too!

@ Euge - Thanks, will do so once the fish settles and fins heal.

@ Najib - Let you know soon.

@ DevinTan - Thanks, I shall do more updates on others soon.

@ Bartlo - This auranti along with 9 other monster sized ones of 21-24 inches were caught 600 km from their original catch locality.

@ Oleoleole - Thanks.

@ Trevor - Many thanks man. Will try and do a proper one, a bit tricky as my tanks are spread out in 3 houses. My cousins look after my Channa as well. :)

Cheers,
Tabby

You've outdone yourself this time with the 2 footer man! Never even heard of one nearing that length!

On a side note: I want your Channas man! Making a trip over to Singapore any time soon?

Hi

@ djaalix - Thanks for the kind appreciation. It is fellow hobbyists here like you whose interest in this lovely species makes me want to share whatever I know.

@ deviljinz - Many thanks.

@ Christian - Thanks man! Was a total surprise for me as well when I received 10 specimens of GIGANTIC sizes. You can take my Channas when you come to India or when I visit Singapore I shall surely let you know.

Are you in India or London more often? I shall hold you to your word and plan a trip to India about this time next year! Sweet looking pair man, they look awesome! Do you have any pictures of Aurantis in their mating colors? I heard the males look stunning.

Awesome. Really nice. Next time I visit India I will come visit. My friend up in Montreal has 2 barca's. they are amazing. Nice collection
