I have 5 Channa punctata and the biggest is a green variant of 34 cm. They rarely get over 30 cm in captivity.

They are all amazing, Tabby.
I am a bit biaised with the aurantis, because I also keep them, but the leopard and the chameleon you just showed are beautiful.

Well.. no need to mention the holly grail barca, of course...

Great shot's as always, I haven't seen many examples of the bleheri / "sp. chocolate" Did they breed for you yet ? Would you be willing to share more pic's ???

Also just curious is Chameleon Snakehead similar locality/same local as what is often called sp "mimic pulchra" ? Looks very similar.

Thanks guys.

Devon - Yes, the 'Chameleon Snakehead' is a common name for sp. Mimetic Pulchra. The Chocolate Flamefins haven't bred yet but I have a pair so let's hope for the best. Sharing a couple of pics, one with flash and one without.

They are very interesting, Almost look like a Gachua/bleheri hybrid. What's there temperament like ?? and do you know is it a wild type from a specific locality or just a unique morph of bleheri ?

I'm envious of your collection, I wish i had access to half the specimens you own!

Thanks Devon. Temperament is similar to bleheri. These are found in a specific small area only and could be a new species.
