I thought they grow to 10-12" as channa pulchra;)
What do you think? Are they subtropikal or tropical?
Do you have this collection in London?

No idea how large they could grow but I'd like to believe not larger than 8''. Mine bred at 6'', will get some pics soon.

I have only 3 species in London and the rest in my homeland India which I visit with great joy to see my Channa in more than 40 tanks. :)

I keep a single asiatica, couple of ornatipinnis and the mimetic pulchra family in London. In India, I easily have around 30 Channa species.

Will get some more pictures soon mate. :)

Thanks Spence! Barca are rare and very difficult to get hold of, hence the price is usually high. Can expect them to be at least
£700-£1200 in the UK as they are in great demand at the moment.

Many thanks for the appreciation Kevin. :)
