Correct. The water overflows from the central setup to the sump pump in the basement. Water comes in directly from the tap.
 
Very nice , i may set something like this once i have my living room full of frotosa tanks .

One filter change will last approximately 5,000 gallons.
 
and you're not running anything else with the chloramine filter? like RO?
