That is one legit mail box. If you want a mailbox guaranteed not to get smashed. Get the biggest mailbox at the hardware store, then get a normal sized mailbox and set it inside the XL. Buy a bag of quickrete mix it up and pour it in around the little box filling the entire gap to the top. After it dries mount it all on a railroad tie and BAM your in business. If some punk tries to smash that their gonna have to swing through the E.R. on the way home to get their wrist taken care of.

Very nice! I hate my current mailbox. Some punk kids decided to blow up my old mailbox with a dry ice bomb, so I have to use this ugly white mailbox that my neighbor gave my Dad a few years back.

Sounds likes something i'd do..... to my own

I wish though, dry ice bombs are police material.

Nice work but ....

The issue will be when the 'letter carrier' decides not to like it, since its not approved they can make you remove it or refuse to deliver mail..

I had to remove a custom box back in the 80's.. they left a 'note' that it could hurt the postal worker, and mail would not be delivered until we supplied a box 'Approved by the Postmaster General'
