You just use plants for filtration....Do you have any pumps to create a flow or are the ponds still?

I use only plants. I don't have pumps. If you have alot of plants you don't need pumps. Try it and you will see. Obviously if you have more fishes than water :) the plants aren't going to do the work. For me is the best way to have fishes in good shape and without costs.
The plants i use are the ones that can tolerate low temperatures.

I have some cichlids. The bigger ones are the Nandopsis Facetum that we have here in Portugal in our rivers. Its the only cichlid that exists in Europe. And i have Gymnogephagus Meridionalis, some adult couples. This are the biggest ones. But i have other species of Gymnogeophagus, Appistograma, Killies and Vivipares.
Next week i'll post more pictures because these weekend i'm going to work in my new green house.
