I still had time to prepare a corner for my land turtles, testudo horsfieldi, because they were in nedeed to go sunbathing.

After seeing them climbing, I understoud that the thing could not be like that. I change them to another place, but I forgot to take pictures.

And this was my Sunday of intensive work.

Well. Another episode of this soap opera

This weekend i've emtied the tank where the American Cichlids were during winter.

From there came out 4 Jack Dempsey

3 Neetroplus Panamensis
This beautiful male

and 2 females

5 Gymnogeophagus Australis that are very beautiful but with serious doubts that they are Australis

and 3 Apisto. Combrae

I never thought that the Apisto were alive, with all these boys. Especially because of the Jack Dempsey. But the thing went well. Now they are alone in a tank. Let see if they reproduce.

The tank is now empty and I think is going to be dedicated to African Cichlids.

Very cool all the new pics. The fish still look great and healthy as can be, great job!

The glas tank up side down is indeed good. Try it in your sink, fill the sink with water, get a jar simular to this:

Put it under water so it can get full of water and then lift it out bottom first until about 2/3 cm of the jar (with the open side) stays under the waterline. You will see it will hold water inside the jar.

In a pond (they also sell stuff like that commercially over here) the water in the jar/tank etc will heat up more/quicker than the water in the pond and because most fish like warmer water you will be able to see them swim.

Here you see a lot of 100 cm high jars with a diagonal of 40 cm (or bigger) in ponds, only thing to consider is alge forming in there, so a tank would be easyer to clean (alge magnet or something).

Keep up the good work!
