my latest science project.......

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
In my ichthyology classes we boiled whole fish to the point where they were just soft enough and picked off all the mean and such. gets the scales off pretty well and if you know your fish anatomy, you can just put them back together with a little super glue, we did that with a few good sized Rockfish (Morone Saxatilis) and they turned out pretty well.

You want to really challenge yourself, try it with any type of flounder or flatfish!

well I can't wait to see it
this project reminds me of a coaster I got in cuba that has a scorpian in it
it is made of some kind of epoxy and it looks like there was an acrilic disc that the scorpian and stuff was placed on and then the epoxy is poured over it

by the way I love your projects and netting midnight

My brother and I use to do just this with rattle snake that were kill by tractors mowing the fields. after we would dip the heads in gold and to guys that would put them on cowboy hats... cant wait to see the out come..

I'll try to be patient, but now you have me all excited for my fish to die which feels really backwards. Ill be cleaning out my freezer soon haha:popcorn:
