There is a YT called MacTV who lives in Pattaya and he does videos about the Bar Girls and Soi6 but he also has some good videos about getting documents and visas and passports.
Quick question Jexnel before you went did you have to get shots or get tested for diseases before you arrived?

Nope, no test, no shots didn't even ask for my covid vaccine records. Just need your passport. As an American you get 30 days automatically. You can renew it for another 30, then the next renewal you can do 60 days at a time for up to three years. Then leave for 24 hours and it gets reset and you start over. Or can do a pay into permanent resident visa, or get married for a permanent resident visa.

The pay for a resident visa is called a srrv visa. Have to be 50 years old plus. You put money into the bank depending on your income and it stays there incase you need it for medical later on in life.

The marriage one is called a 13a visa. Obviously you have to marry a natural born Philippine. *** marriage is not recognized here in the Philippines. First you get a six moth visa. If still married when time to renew next is a year, then five year. Oh and a word of warning there is no divorce in the Philippines. So make sure it's a good marriage not one of convenience just to stay. Adultery is punishable by law. There are allotments but very costly and take years.
