Front paper is still on. Will take that off tonight or tomorrow then get you some pictures then.

Also looking to start the background. Going to go the foam and concrete route which will delay my fish from going in until the PH settles back down from the concrete.

Also no 100% sure which concrete to use. Been using Quickrete Vinyl Concrete Patcher as a test, but I am a not sure what others have used without issues. There are too many options to choose from with this stuff and I just am not sure which is the correct one to use.

From their website: "Vinyl Concrete Patcher is a multi-purpose concrete repair material with strong adhesive properties. Trowels to a feather edge of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Made of a special blend of exterior grade vinyl resin, fine sand, and portland cement."

I did one using that method and used the hydro lock concrete. It would get real expensive in your case. I personally did not like mine. It looked off and had to be siliconed in to keep it from floating, so I eventually just threw it out. TheDeeb had his clown loaches start to eat his in the 300 gallon paludarium project. If I rember right you have loaches as well and may run in to this same problem. Due to these reasons I am going to go a foam design the use it as a mild to make a fiberglass background. I like this idea better because it does not mess with PH and the worry of it eventually breaking down is gone. I think it will be easier to clean and if painted with krylon fusion paint a more realistic look can be achieved. Just my thoughts. I am sure what ever you do it will look amazing your tanks are top notch.

There's a riverstone bathroom tile that my wife gets samples of from time to time. It's nice, rounded riverstones set over a sheet mesh. I always thought that using that as a back-wall habitat would be fantastic as the stones are standing on-end so have huge relief and (habitat) space between. I'll have a look at the sample next time I vac the tank if you'd like.
