are you going to do any background? or are you just ditching the concrete/foam because of time constraints? hope the leak test went well!

OMG.. so im at work now, and just spent about 1.5 hrs reading the whole thread.. amazing build, some serious fish dedication ;) hope to build something like this too one day, as soon as my bank account feels like it too ;) Keep up the awesome work, and hope everything works out with the leaks! And of course, like just about everyone else cant wait to see this thing up and running!

Yes video when done will be posted. :)

Background is back on the table since I got the 1500 to stop leaking. However, I am still interested in getting this done quicker so a differnt type of background might be used now.

Will leak test again tonight. I think I got them all covered with what pond armor I had left and it wasn't setup enough for a test last night.

Ok a few pictures.. I know you are jonesing for something new..

Getting the FRP installed. (Fiberglass Reinforced Panels). Used in food services for the walls. Since I am not doing a top like the last tank needed something safe, strong, and moisture proof.

Thanks..

The DIY background is out. I really was not looking forward to 2-3 weeks more in delay just for the background.

So, I have been talking with the folks @ Designs By Nature http://www.designsbynature.net/ and I am getting a background from them. Will take me 1 day to install and 1 day to cure the silicone and then I fill and turn on the pumps. Well worth it I think. Also then I don't have to worry about the concrete, any weird water issues, etc etc.

Plus, I really need to get this done so I can get the other house on the market.
