Amazing. Just amazing.

sorry if i'm making u repeat urself ...... so pond armor bonds to the wood and then the silicone bonds well to the pond armor for a leak proof tank right ? i'm talking about the window area of the tank btw

Congratulations on the tank it looks stunning. Planning on keeping paroon sharks in there anytime soon:drool:, they would look stunning?

If there's a person on this earth that deserves that tank it's you, with all the countless leaks and fish deaths and other problems.
You definitely have monster patience & dedication.

Sorry to ask a question that's probably already been asked before, but how do u keep sand from getting into your intakes and keep the sand clean?
Because gravel vacuuming that thing would take heavy patience.

Best of luck, looking forward to the pdf.

The pool filter sand is heavier and sinks much faster than other sands. Therefore it's not likely to be in the intakes.

Also the sand stops before the intakes so any over spill of sand into the pseudo sump area should remain on the bottom and no travel into the intakes.

Sand stays clean naturally as the currents bring the waste into the intake area by traveling on the top of the sand.

Fantastic work VL, I am wrapped you got this monster done.

real great! just unfortunate it takes so long to catch up with all what happened...a thread that resumes everything in one post in the article section would be awesome once everything is done. i have few questions, but i dont want to ask something that has already been answered 10 times!

nywaz, great job and congrats to you!
