I'm very jealous. When I have enough $$ doing something like this will be at the top of my list.
My tank has finally arrived

Hey boys and gals just thought I would update on my tank. Today it was finally filled!!!
Not the best photos will try and put some better ones up on the weekend. Hoping to start stocking it soon, using media from another tank to help with the cycling.
Also the lights are not set up properly yet, the blue night lights have been mixed up with the normal daytime lights. WIll try to fix that up and sort out the timers this weekend. That will eliminate the purple look during the day. Normal light during the day, and blue light at night.
And ignore the aquascaping for the moment, just trying to water-log the wood for the time-being. I am hoping it doesnt take too long. There is 1 x 2m log in there, and 3 stumps. Not sure if I will use all 3 stumps though. One is a good corner piece to go in the back corner and the other I may stick in the left side where it is all open. Only want to aquascape it once as it wont be the easiest to fix if i change my mind. (which i always do

I am loving the black diamond quartz.
Still a tiny bit of work to do with it, some tidying up and need to put a flap on the front canopy/bulkhead over the feeding hole.
To go with my NTT, Pearsei and Bala's I bought a few small tinfoils, and a juvi lemon barb, will eventually get a few more balas, tinfoils and maybe another lemon barb. And contemplating a Qld lungfish
I have some L168's to go in, but want some other (non-pleco) cats to go in, but not sure what at the moment.
Now the builders better up and finish the rest of my house, so I can move back in!!

Your tank just blows my mind, man! I love the layout, the placement in the house, the whole look of it... Great job!
