Need creative stocking for 75 gallon!

Anyone have suggestions featuring good sized cichlids? Id like to keep 3-4 of one species and then a dither school. I had considered Red Head Tapajos at one point with dithers up top. Kinda got mixed reviews on the outcome of that.

Blue acara, Firemouth, Cupid, Convicts, Jewels?
Could do a 2 pairs of one of those and have room for dithers, if you are still keen on that.

Im in the same boat. Have you seen some of the other Thorichthys? some of those are stunning

Yes, but they arent readily available here. The only fish id be willing to order online are the Tapajos

I understand. Ive heard horror stories of females murdering everything during mating tho. It would scare me in a community

Exactly. Kribs are very peaceful in their defence of fry and eggs, and make ideal community fish even as a breeding pair or 2. This is why I suggested them
