Because thats all he has done so far. This is the most doo doo iv ever seen out of one fish.

besides that, he found a hiding spot and has been there all day. I think he is stuck, but im gonna leave him alone for now, so he dont get too stressed.
 
You might beable to hand feed him with time. It appears pretty big. Nice save man, hope you enjoy him.

he has been in the same spot for all day, and finally when it got dark, he started barely moving. must be nocturnal. all i could get him today was goldies, we will see if he gets any by the morning. i may get some earthworms tomorrow, but he may be traumatized by those.
 
He's cool! I'd keep an eye on the convicts and jewels once he settles in.
