Nice build, looking forward to see it finished.
Do you have a stock list for it yet, or are you still on the fence about it?
A big datnoid would look sick in a giant tank like that.

What types of fish do you plan to put in it?

Working with a giant 500 pound section of glass to me would be very scarey for me.
The weight isnt what scares me as much as dropping the glass and the cost to replace it.

as for fish i still have no clue and daily i look at hundreds of fish i could put in it.

I plan to not add more fish to my fish system unless upgrade past a 300 gallon fish tank or bigger in that I have four Goldfish in a 75 and they started out two inches long and are now eight inches long and I've had two of them in their for five years.

I emailed another aylic company and they told me the costs of several supersized aylic sheets

The first sheet was a 10 foot wide by six foot high three and a half inch thick sheet at that came out to $20,000 dollars and a 14 foot long eight foot high four inch sheet came out to $41,000 dollars. So I think eight foot by four foot high will be about the upper limits of any super sized tanks I might try in the future unless I win the Lotto Pick 5 or Megamillions or get a $100,000 dollar a year job.

You can plan well and use multiple sheet of 8 by 4.

You will make mistakes. I have yet to find a build where everything went as planned. im pretty anal and i still messed up.

Plan plan plan plan plan. you are more likely to make mistakes without a solid plan laid out before work. Draw it out, if you know some one who has accesses to a good drafting program BEG them to draw it up for you. I wish i can convay how much that helped me.

Try to work with a buddy. atleast for me it didnt seem like work when someone was with me helping.
