Tank looks great. It looks nice as is with the shiners lol though that isnt what you want.

That tank isn't really big enough for two JD's let alone another large fish. If your JD's pair off you won't have a territory issue but you will be doing water changes every few days. You might not want to add anything else and you might want to think about making that tank a grow out tank. It looks great though. I really like the aquascaping.
OK, so.. the JDs are about 6 months old now (rather, I've had them for six months). Male is approx. 4.5" getting larger by the day. female approx. 3.5" her colors have really come out since being moved to the larger tank. How long does it take (at what age) for JDs to pair up? What happens if they don't? How will I know?
