These photos show the differences in the two fish, IMO the first has more WC characteristics while the second more CB
Definitely not a fan of CB Congicus atm. Who knows, we'll see how they look as they grow. Looking forward to updates. Btw how big is your WC Congicus now?
Hao, RIP the big guy last summer. 24"....... That is the Main reason I jumped on these guys as the Canadian Market is barren with respect to Polypterus and to have them shipped out of the US is expensive and a pain with the department of agriculture (?) inspection tax. Toyin himself said it is not worth my money or his time.
So I make the best out of what I can get. I also grabbed a CB endi as they are also hard to find now up here. Hopefully they turn into something nice. (I am very happy with my Hog 21" CB endi)
I'm sorry to hear about the congicus. What was the reason of death? You need to update all your bichirs again!
Thanks Hao, I was not able to determine cause of death he seemed fine one day and the next morning he had passed. It gutted me me almost as much as when my giant 23" ornate passed years back.
In the new year I will get an updated thread going, tank is pretty full now as I have been doing the Noah's ark model of stocking...two of each type. Weeksii, lap, del, ornate, endi and now congicus.

I was reading the site and they said that they cant do a overnight shipping cause U.S has to check everything that comes from canada.
