Congrats man,
I recently built a 240 gal plywood tank. When i was doing all my research i read your thread a couple of times. Mine is still cycling right now. I had it in the garage for about a month full of water, just to make sure. I hope that they last for years.

www.garf.org has been doing them for years, hes got some that are 18 years old, i might put an extra layer of bondo up every few years and plan on putting thicker glass on, also may redo the back ground and put mirrors up on the sides.
