New 'hairy' monster in the house

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Awesome shot.
Does he/she do this everyday?
I've heard that puffers stretch their stomachs out everyday to keep the elasticity, but they usually do it first thing in the morning so most keepers don't get to see it often.

Brought this back from the dead to update the little guy. Have had him for a couple years now and he is still one of my favorite fish.

A new home for 'Scruffy'. He just moved into a 65B from a 40B. Tank filtered with an Aquaclear 110 and Eheim 2217.

He is not huge but has a big personality.

Lurkers are not for everybody, but I think they're cool. Where did you get it from if you don't mind? I had a suvatti years ago, but this time I've been looking for a hairy. That suvatti was super tricky to get on dead food. I think I had to tie fishing line around food and dance it around the tank if I remember correctly.

Where's the feeding video at?

This one was from Wet Spot. I wanted an arrowhead myself but they dont come up often at all. This guy will eat some dead food but did not go for frozen silversides even with the feeding tongs. But it loves krill, whether freeze dried or frozen. It likes worms/nightcrawlers too. I used to feed it whole frozen shrimp with head and make a slit in the head and stuff some massivore in there but it has really been finicky about dead foods lately.

Sadly no feeding videos.... will need to work on that.
