that is the only thing about a new tank I dont like, you are all excited to get it up and running but you need to wait a month for it to cycle unless you are using your old filters.

Looking good li. Just read this whole thing. I'd have to comment that the koi socknets that you have shown will do the trick no problems. I use them to move my big cats and I haven't had any issues other than they don't have a large enough dia for really big catfish. Your mundis should do fine. Trust me if my 38" nearly 35 lbs catfish can't pierce it I doubt a mundi will, but still take precaution. Nothing like netting a giant fish and having it sway along with the weight of the water, but I love these nets second to non for not damaging fish, and also not dropping fish out of a shallow net. I have the 40" 12" dia one. Very sturdy, and the material is tough as nails. Good luck!

thanks for the head up... :) we will see in few weeks.... after my tank is done cycling..

Where did you buy those?
You can also find these at Tractor Supply stores, for raw water pump strainers.
