not really, when you spend enough time on MFK you will learn to speed read and also know the posters that normally have something informative to read so you know where to slow down.

Li looks like it is time to go through all these old threads I remove all the non-important posts. since David R doesnt have time to waste on MFK, well I think that is what he is hinting at.
Look at the dates we both signed up on before you start talking about how much time I've spent on MFK. And look at the difference in post count too. You're right I "don't have time to waste on MFK", I'd much rather be off the computer cleaning my tanks, riding my bike, drinking with friends, or reading an interesting interesting post on MFK that isn't cluttered with 50 "unsubstantial" replies for every on-topic post.

Sorry that MFK isn't my life... ;)

then you don't really have a right to complain then do you... :headbang2I have time in my life for all of that and MFK while working full time, but at the moment I am currently recovering from a shattered elbow but returning to work on Monday.

SHHHHHH!!!! Li's trying to concentrate. You know he has to focus on the perfect plan to transfer his fish soon, and without a hitch.

Its because people keep making pointless one-line replies, making it really hard to follow because for every one update or post with pics there are a hundred "nice tank" "jealous" "looking good" "can't wait to see it finished" type replies. Its a real shame that people do it, threads like this one, fugupuf's Rare Fish thread, the guy who made a 57000g tank, just about anything by JohnPTC, every "build thread" in the DIY forum, etc etc are all ruined in similar fashion. Its one thing to ask a genuine question related to the topic, but all the "nice work" and "great setup" posts are just a big waste of space and make following a thread from start to finish painfull, IMO...

rant over.
His post was over one line:irked::grinno:
You both have valid points but i like it when people comment on my threads. i will remember not to comment on yours.;)
back to the fish. i need more pics of the entire tank. is it going to be bare bottom?
