We use Centrifuge Filters to remove the solids from the coffee extract. Its one step in the Instant coffee process. Like I said similar, Its not the same kinda exact thing for sure! LOL

Sketching up the final plans tomorrow, hoping to get the base in for part two that I've not got yet and work on the base for the nexus.
The plan is to get as much prep done as possible so the filters are only off for 24 hours.
I've finally found a couple of UV bulbs that are reasonably priced which again will go in on the upgrade. I've got to buy bulbs that are specific for the unit, which will cure the green, once it's all in place then I'll treat with clay to clump the crap together and we'll see how long it takes to clear.
Here is the three day plan for the filtration upgrade.
Friday:
Drain the pond to 1/2 depth, this is prevent any possible cave ins at the back while the bracing is removed.
Dig out the new filter pit, this sounds a huge job but I'll be using some of the existing filter pit so hopefully I can get it all done.
Lay the concrete base in the new filter pit(if I've got any energy left), the plan is for a 2'' coverage, just enough to give a good level base..
Saturday: Lay the brick work inside the new filter house and start filling in the old pit.
Sunday: Install new system and pipe work switch on, fix all the leaks, open bottle of wine and refill.
Sounds easy when you say it fast. I want to do this all quickly as the pond will be off during this time.
If it's all done by the end of next week I'll be happy
If attachments are still down and your interested pm you email addresses and I'll send photos that way.

Friday has not gone as well as hoped. For some reason I woke up with a killer hangover which didn't help
Vortex 3 is out and the new hole has been started. The blocks have been delivered so hopefully tomorrow should be a better day. There is a little more of a window since I've ordered new uv bulbs and they won't be here until Monday/Tuesday, I'm not messing about taking everything apart again to install them.
I've not taken pics but will do in the morning before I start again.
