New project, will take a long time

Wasn't this suggested very early on, and you instead wanted to do it the hard way? ;) Or...maybe I'm just crazy.
It may have been suggested before, the point at the time of the first filters install was that they worked, now they don't for the stocking levels.

Add that to the cost of everything else involved in the build at that time and this unit wasn't an option, especially as I've paid about a 3rd of the cost of one at the time of the build;)

what is that unit worth? I may need to get one.
What Zen said below is a fairly accurate base. Over there these unit are even more stupidly over price than over here.

heh heh heh...:WHOA:
the "lid" cost as much as a FX5...
and a new 200 cost as much as 5 top-of-the-line Eheims...

I'm sure there are deals out there, but keep in mind this is SERIOUS pond filtration...
I've just ordered the next bit;)

Right on...

After studying the backwash video, I now see how easy it will be to service...

the Sieve is the part that spins while the air is injected right?

Close it doesn't spin. As mine is empty I'll do a quick vid to explain.

Cracked it, I understand what your on about.

Your thinking/reading up on the first nexus that had 'the answer' in the middle as mech(that used to spin). This is version 2 that has the 'easy' in the middle instead of 'the answer'.

Sorry brother Zen, I've not taken the vid, I was late in I'll get it up tomorrow.

Got a bit confused about how to plumb it in pump fed but I've worked it out.

Vid tomorrow:popcorn:

Sorry I've not been updating the progress of the worlds best shovel;), we should be shipping soon.

Genius, I say!
Who ever designed that filter is simply Genius...
That takes perfect advantage of the K1 and how it works...I like it!
That ought to take care of the Bio...

looks like there might be a place for some wedges of JapMatt in the slots seen at 0:29-0:31

very nice, great buy Brother...
