If you very very quick there you had a preview of my POTM entry
Vortexes drained and cleaned, my word it smelled bad, they've been turned off since November, I was almost sick cleaning chamber 2, somehow two frogs made there way under the matting and had started to decompose which made it more important to get the pots in so the system became closed to wildlife, if wildlife were to get in they couldn't get stuck:
The cheapest, simplest solution to a problem: Broken pump:
You'll have to wait a bit until Zen reads his email for the little surprise
Let's hope the weather is good tomorrow so I can get it all done, flags laid, down pipes sorted, new pump then it's all systems go
You got the pics then, I'll post Zen, bought me a mfk shirt he gets to see them first Not monsters yet but these babies can reach 20lbs and my little setup can handle it
Thanks guys. Been raining all day today so couldn't get anything done other than get the bits to sort out the down pipes to the bottom of the vortexes.
I've also researched a new pump, annoyingly I was recommended a sequence 15000. I've done some reading up and the reason they are so popular is the low wattage they run at, now for the problem the cheapest I've seen is £360 which is way more than I was planning to pay(considering I had one anyway until it broke). So I'm looking at the smaller model a sequence 10000.
