He was suppose to be food and he almost was. He was picked apart pretty bad lost almost all his legs and both pincers but he escaped molted twice and now he roams around with the lights on and the fish pay him no attention. Unfortunately he's also been nibbling on my Dwarf Sag. :irked:

i know ive said it before, but I LOVE THIS TANK !!! one day when you look on here and see a tank that looks just like yours :confused::confused::confused: dont worry, it will be the one i built!

anyhow, so the florida's are in cold water? any issuses with that? (i have a florida in 70ish water, so i was just wondering) ...

also, i think tanks like yours have made me like gar more and more! do you have a favorite species?
so far i have one florida, and tomorrow i am getting a new one that is probably either a florida/short nosed (see my craigslist thread)

any other tankmates you are going to add ?

Thanks for the compliments. As for the fish the water temps been pretty steady at about 65F and I haven't noticed anything different in the fish besides them not gulping air as much. Otherwise feeding and swimming around the tank is like it has been before winter. I don't plan on anymore tank mates.

oh thats a yellow perch lol i haven't seen them before they look kind of like a juvie bass

Just took a look at your article thread. At first glance I couldn't even tell this wasn't a glass tank. Great construction. This is one of my favorite tanks I've seen so far on MFK.
