I'm going to put African Cichlids at first. Then we'll see. I origanally wanted Peacock Bass, but I can't get them down here.

I just started up the big fountain. SWEET!! The water is coming from the skimmer with a 3,000gph pump. I didn't realize how much dirt accumulates on the bottom of a pool. That's why the water looks so dirty. I gave the lazy river a sweep just below the fountain.

I think I'll drain it again and give it another good cleaing job. Yes that was dirt, and alot of it. I havn't quite gotten the filter system working like I want it. Also my pump for the bog keeps heating up.

Is the bog pump external or in one of the skimmers?

Maybe getting restricted?

My pump will heat up if the pond level goes down or if the skimmer basket gets really clogged and not enough water gets to the pump. I have seen it steam when water does hit it after it has been out of the water for an period of time.
