The first picture is of my son wondering, "this pool project isn't quite going as planned."

The pump has been running for about 3 hours straight now and no smoke. It's hot as hell though. Its weird how there aren't any ventilation holes in the pump. Maybe its suppose to get hot? Its seems to be moving quite a bit of water. We just double checked the wiring.

The guys started surfacing the terrace. They cut the ugly corner off of the rancho.

I'm still with the same problem with the skimmer. We're going to take it out and lower it. The Laguna skimmer/filter 5,000 is a pretty well designed unit. It would be a shame to let it sit there filtering only 10% of its capacity.

With all of the construction going on way too much dirt has fallen into the pond/pool. We're going to make some minor adjustments, drain the water out, lower the skimmer, fill any more holes that there may be and hope for the best.

Every thing is cool guys. I'm still here. My water level was going down about 3 cm per day. With a pond this big that's a crap load of water. I decided to empty it out re-seal every thing and filler back up.

We found some places that the water might be leaking out but we're not for sure. So we filled the cracks full of grout anyway. With a project this big I expected things to be settling for a while.

Also with this construction going on I got a whole lot of dirt in there. The water started turning green, and I didn't have everything run at the same time to keep the water circulating. I have my parents bringing down some more pumps for the fountains which will be a big help. I think I'm trying to do too much all at the same time. But then agian, it there any other way to do things?

My Cell phone down here is 8352-0991 in case you want to give me a call while you're down here.
