Dats including NTT don't so much change their colour and pattern due to stress. They change with lighting conditions and environment.

NTT don’t change color as often as Indo but still can and do depending on the situation. NTT are notorious for suddenly dying as this old thread was discussing. Not sure anyone has figured out the mystery yet as it’s still very rare to ever see a large NTT.
