That's not a festae! It's a Urothalmus. Very hard to tell the differene under normal conditions. The size of the eye spot, and the colors at maturity are the indicators. Pet shops pass off Uros as Festae all the time. I have raised and bred both. Body shape and patterns are very simliar but temperament, colors at maturity, and behavior are vastly different. Also when stressed, Festae barring usually turns all black or disappear making them look tannish brown to light grey. Uros typically exhibit their distinct turquois and red barring even whe stressed. These are all generalizations of what I've observed over the years.
