Official Off Topic Discussion Thread #1

Hello; I bought my wood stove from a hardware store in Arjay KY. Had a friend from college who lived there.
Today two pit bulls got out and killed a 66 year old woman who was putting out seed for the birds. Her husband was attacked but not killed. He managed to shoot both dogs killing one, the other is still out and wounded.
Don't know why I am posting this as it is a downer on Christmas eve.

Anyone hear of the raccoon that got into a home and attacked a toddler?
It dragged her across the floor and inflicted lacerations to the child's face.

That was my original plan but when I invited him he graciously declined. I think he was disappointed that he couldn't spend Christmas with his family like he wanted.

This is just what I think, he hasn't actually said anything (being a typical Aussie bloke and what not) so I don't really know why.

I hope he had fun, we burnt some food, laughed at cats playing with baubles that they'd "found" and sang terribly (he sounded good, I didn't :p) to Christmas songs all day. :)
 
Yes the raccoon climbed in and dragged the child, leaving lacerations and cuts. I believe the parents are angry at the landlord because he denied multiple residents requests to chase away the raccon or have it removed.
