Official Off Topic Discussion Thread #1

Snow is ok in moderation. Now the ice is another story.

This has been the coldest winter in a long time so far. Teens today and singles tonight. 3.5 hrs & I can have a toe in the gulf of Mexico.

I never was a big fan of snow, even as a kid but the older I get the more I despise it.I'll eventually relocate to an area where I hopefully won't see another flake for the rest of my days.

Don't come to Austin Texas, we've had it twice already this Winter. Short lived though. It's been below freezing since Monday night but dry since Tuesday morning.

just want to go back to Florida like I was last week, I could fish without being huddled around a heater in a tent looking at a fish indicator while I try to keep the hole from refreezing. It was zero when I walked to class and felt like negative fifteen. I either want to get the snow done with or head out to Colorado and try some back country skiing.

I moved to DE thinking we were done with the large snow storms. Two already. Everyone said the winters are mild last yr we were on the beach (not in the water) on holloween. This yr temps in teens and single digits. I used to love the snow but i cant stand it now.

You didnt move far enough southward for too much of a difference in the weather as I think both states are in the same climate zone.

Smh man. Everyone told us (family and friends) that the winters are much milder in southern DE. They did say they get snow but most people dont bother shoveling it because its gone the next day. Last yr wasnt to bad. But this yr it feels like a NY winter.

Man i should have moved further south. I like the change in seasons but ive grown to hate the extreme cold and snow storms

It's straight 80s here all the way right now...
