Official Off Topic Discussion Thread #1

hello; I don't know for sure on the thumb drive (stick) but when I rip the CD I have the setting as windows lossless.
When I moved the songs to the stick I used file explorer to drag a song to the stick.

The Honda salesman has been texting some suggestions. He says to format the stick as FAT 32 and to use either MP3, WMA or AAC.
I will try to check again but think maybe I use WMA.
Hello; yes the songs are WMA

Yes, I beleive WMA is lossless. If the various cars can play some does seem odd. I use to use a HD plugged in to my Toyota. It could not read through certain folders and play all songs as well. All formats was .MP3 so it wasn't that it couldnt play that format.

If you do reformat let us know the outcome.

Hope she gets better soon

Hello; Picked up a new memory stick. Was able to format it as FAT32. Put some songs on it. So far only have access to a nissan and a hyunda. Both the old and new stick work fine in the hyunda, but only the old stick works in the Nissan. The Nissan is a few years old so it's computer may be dated. Now to find a late model Honda.
