Pulled into the parking lot of the shopping center and just as I took a few steps away from my car I heard smacking sound down on the ground right in front of me.Apparently a bird had just dropped a load as it flew by up above me and I was just a second or two away from stepping into it's target zone and being bombed.
Lucky you. I remember going to the river walk in San Antonio...I wasn't so lucky. 18 years later they got my brother in the same spot.
Yeah I was lucky,there are lots of pigeons,crows and even sea gulls in that area and any one of them are big enough to drop quite a nice sized bit of poopage on a person.
Two words: Sea Eagle !
Most here regard them as sea pigeons.....lost sea pigeons
Hello; Here is another nearly useless bit of trivia I seem to recall from somewhere in my past. The notion is that there are several things birds do when they launch into the air. Among these things is to drop a load if one is locked and loaded as this is supposed slightly reduce the weight they are trying to get airborne.
