Yes. I think you mean there could be legal challenges by the last sentence?

I definitely dont have the whole story. Ive been trying really hard to NOT follow any of this nonsense but from what i heard on the radio was that if he pushes an exec order through, the dems could somehow file suit and play it out in the courts

Awe, sounds like my baby brother when he was a little boy. He joined the marines right after high school. Signed up for 8yrs I believe. I worry about him all the time.
One upside right now is his monthly training is only an hour from me. He lives out of state so he stays at my place on those weekends. It’s nice getting that time with him.
My friend joined the ARMY no ones seen him since, not sure if he got black washed or what, but dang can he make explosives!

My wife freaks out over it. Shes hd a few family members serve. I tell her theres nothing we can do. If that really is his calling then more power to him, the other option is he spends his life behind a desk somewhere regretting not followimg hi dreams.

Your bro seems like a great guy

What did he go in for?
I’ve had friends and family in all branches. No ones disappeared. Lol

Yeah, my mom wasn’t thrilled either. But it’s really all he ever wanted growing up. Our dad was a marine as well. His parents were pissed when he joined. Not a branch they wanted him in.
I’ve had uncles in all branches of service. Friends too. I have a lot of respect for them all, but it really hurts to see how service changes them.

My brother thankfully is in the reserves right now. So he hasn’t been changed too much yet.

He wasn't talking about what he was doing, hopefully he's out there killing some sorry SOBs, he would like that.
Been a few years now tho.... blessings wherever he is

I think thats the part the goes most overlooked. Hopefully the world chills out and your bro spends his days working out and enjoying the scenery

The liability is just too high. He could have a great career. Complete 19 yrs and 364 days. But on day 365 he gets jammed up and bam no pension, no job, legal fees and a family to explain this too

Dude if they make it to their 20, they can be held accountable for the rest of their lives under UCMJ if the military decides to prosecute. One time I inprocessed a new prisoner at the Regional Corrections Facility in Ft. Sill, OK seven years after he retired because the Fed decided to press charges for something he did. I don't remember what he did anymore.

Wow! That's insane
