I went out this morning to get in my car and the door was frozen shut.I had to exert a bit of force to get it open.....got in,turned the car on and the dashboard thermometer read sixteen degrees.Start by plasticing up those windows, put down draft stoppers, bundle up from head to......wait. Haha.
It’s days like this I’m sad I missed my chance to move to Florida.
If it were me I'd be putting on a sweater and ski jacket lol I'm such a wimp for cold weather now after so many years on this island, I'd probably die of hypothermia in 10 min. if I ever went back to Alaska.View attachment 1357421 I feel your guys’s pain with the cold weather. Sounds like you need some engine block heaters, just about every car in Alaska (and I'd reckon Canada) has them or they wouldn't start on cold winter days:Ugh, that sucks. Sorry to hear that.
I forgot to start our vehicles yesterday so I went out this morning to run them. Both had a really hard start but fired thank goodness! I still have to go out and start the other truck, but it’s across the property in my husbands shop and I really don’t want to go out there It hasn’t been run in a few weeks and I’m afraid I’ve let it sit too long.
